Piazzetta has been producing wood heaters since the 1960s and pellet heaters since the 1990s. All Piazzetta Pellet Heaters are designed and manufactured in their factory in Asolo, Italy. Encapsulating design, performance and comfort - pellet heaters are the intelligent heating solution for the discerning buyer.
Pellet heaters have the same ambience as a wood fire, yet the control of gas or electricity. Their high efficiency means that they only have to be topped up with pellets every couple of days and they produce far fewer emissions compared to traditional wood heaters.
Piazzetta’s SY Range encompasses the very best of Italian design and technology. Each pellet heater in the SY Range come standard with:
Mulitfuoco System - A patented technology forces the hot air out of the bottom of the heater for a more even distribution of heat throughout the room.
Majolica Cladding - The heaters are clad in an Italian, hand-finished ceramic that not only looks fantastic but possesses excellent heat retention properties.
Remote Control - An LCD remote that allows you to control the temperature, fan speed and timers from anywhere in your room.
Humidifier - The stainless steel humidifier sits in the top of your heater and allows you to obtain the ideal degree of humidity. Add a few drops of aromatic oil for a pleasant scent.
Energy Saving Function - Once your desired room temperature is reached, the heater automatically lowers the heat output and shuts down completely if the temperature continues to rise. The heater will automatically relight when the temperature starts to drop.
Ducting - P963C and P963M both have dual fans. Allowing you to duct your heater into other rooms of the house. The dual fan allows for independent climate control.

Piazzetta recognise that pellet supply is at the forefront of consumer’s minds when they are considering purchasing a pellet heater. Whilst Australians want to reap the benefits of pellet heating, the availability of high-quality pellets has been scarce.
They are changing that. Since January 2016, Piazzetta have been manufacturing and selling wood pellets from our facility in Eden, NSW. Their pellet manufacturing equipment is a Nova Pelletising line, a speciality turnkey production facility that turns raw wood waste into bagged pellets.
Piazzetta Wood Pellet Range
Piazzetta wood pellets are available in two varieties:
100% Hardwood
Hardwood/Softwood mix
Piazzetta Pellets are packaged in convenient 15Kg bag. RedHot pellets are made using 100% Australian wood, that would otherwise have been destined for landfill or incineration. The hardwood pellets have a bulk density of around 70kg/m³.

Wood Pellet Efficiency
Wood Pellets have a moisture content between 9-10%. This means that the pellets burn hot, with virtually no smoke and a very low ash content. Due to this, pellets are much more efficient than firewood as they have less moisture to burn off before heat is produced.
To put this in context - if you burn 3 Tonnes of seasoned firewood in a combustion heater with a 60% efficiency rating. To get the same heat output from a pellet heater, you will burn just 1481kg of pellets in a heater with a 90% efficiency rating.
Why? Because pellets start giving you heat pretty much straight away. There is no water that needs to be boiled off first like there is in firewood.
